To blog or not to blog? I've been deliberating for eons.
A short-lived blog which lasted less than 6 months and another floating somewhere in cyberspace with only half an entry obviously reveals a lack of affinity with blogging.
But for the sake of memories; the bad and beautiful, I have decided to cross over. It's one thing to have memories stored up somewhere in the brain (which might get increasingly foggy with age) and another to actually read about what went on in our lives. Especially when one has kids. Yes, those little ones are the reason for blogging again.
Will this blog survive the test of time? Keeping my fingers crossed. Anyhow, there can always be a fourth attempt.
I believe it helps to have a community of bloggers to edge each other on as we share our parenting and child raising journey. So I'll check back again for more updates :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome Susan :) yeah it's encouraging to read blogs of other mums (not the super mum types though, those make me feel I'm not doing enough haha) Anyways those that I choose to read on a regular basis are mums who are very real about the struggles and triumphs of their parenting journey.

ReplyDeleteYou know what blog you should start Denise? One on travelling and food!
ReplyDeleteHi Joce. I had the same struggle for a while...I have blogged since my child was a couple of months and I still do thru seasons when I neglect the space. But a recent epiphany hit me, while I was going through my old posts that I have missed so much even with some time of not blogging. Will encourage you to keep up maintaining this space...it will be worth it when u look back n see that all the memories have been preserved in this little space.

Hi Rachel, thanks for sharing and your encouragement. Yes, it's worth it ... don't want to regret not having these snippets of their growing up years.
