What better way to spend National Day than at our national treasure, Changi Airport. A perfect way to beat the heat. I thought of watching the fireworks but E said he wanted to watch the National Day parade at home. So we cooled off at the airport in the afternoon and came back home to chill in front of the TV. Or rather the kids did. I caught glimpses of the parade (in between blogging and surfing).
We had a delightfully, crispylicious lunch at Saboten. This is what happens when you have bored and hungry kids. Pretending to eat off an empty plate while impatiently waiting for the food to arrive.
Grinding sesame seeds in preparation for the tonkatsu sauce, makes the waiting a little more bearable.
Now, on to the highlight of the day. A new indoor playground at T1 - Canopy. The plus, plus point is that it's not exorbitantly priced like most indoor playgrounds. Yes, it's a lot smaller than the big ones but at $6 for every 30 minutes of playtime (free if you spend $30 in a single receipt for Changi Rewards members and $50 if you are not), who's complaining. As long as there are other kids to run, jump and climb with, it's perfectly fine with E.
Baby C had her own version of fun. Hanging on to railings, gazing at the airplanes ...
But she still misses her bro, her favourite playmate.

ReplyDeleteLove the airport too, we are regulars there :) though I would love to do more outdoorsy stuff too. But the migraine-inducing heat makes me think twice! So I chose the airport over Changi coastal walk yesterday.
